Our experts
Philosophy and DNA
Patent office Custos IPC is a collective of self-employed professionals. Experts in the field of patents, brands and models. We form a cooperative where independent IP experts are members of. This model was chosen in the belief that people should be empowered. Do what you are good at and get even better at it. This applies to all our specialists.
For clients, this means the best of both worlds: you work together with one or more experienced independent patent attorneys who are fully focused on your project, but do not suffer from the vulnerability of the one-person operation. This is because our cooperative ensures continuity - should your regular contact person drop out unexpectedly, other specialists are ready to support you.
Our IP Experts are proactive and constructive. Intrinsically driven, genuinely interested and enjoy working on impactful innovations.
Our driving forces
The driving forces of our cooperative are, of course, the members. After all, without members there is no cooperative. Below, we would like to introduce everyone to you, so that you literally and figuratively have an idea of the person, his or her (personal) interests, experience, expertise and in which field(s) they are active.
Here you will find an overview of expertises and sectors by member. As you can see, our patent office is at home in many markets.

Added value
A major advantage of working with patent agency Custos IPC is that all our specialists are experienced and driven, as well as having a wide range of expertise on board. This ensures substantive knowledge and continuity. We focus on the customer's needs and assess from there which expertise offers the best solution. Of course, this can also be a set of expertises that can be scaled up or down, depending on the customer's needs.
On our services page you can read more about the different forms of cooperation and what IP services and work we perform.

What factors determine the cost of applying for a patent?
Patent application costs are influenced by several elements: the complexity of your invention, the number of claims you want to protect, and the geographical scope of your patent. Dutch patents are more cost-effective than European or international applications, but also offer more limited market coverage.
Our experts at Custos IPC prepare a detailed cost estimate based on your specific situation. We look not only at the immediate costs, but also at the long-term ROI of your patent investment. Through smart strategies, we can often save costs without compromising the protection of your innovation.
As a cooperative, we offer you the best of both worlds: you work with one or more experienced independent patent attorneys, but do not suffer the vulnerability of the one-person firm. Our cooperative ensures continuity in your IP counselling.
