Philosophy and DNA
Custos IPC is a collective of independent patent attorneys. We are experts in the field of patents, each with our own technical background and area of specialism. For other forms of intellectual property — such as trade marks and designs — we work in collaboration with carefully selected partners.
We are organised as a co-operative in which independent IP experts work together. We have deliberately chosen this model: we believe that people thrive best when they can do what they are good at — and develop their skills in that area. This philosophy applies to all our specialists and forms the basis of our services.
For clients, this offers the best of both worlds: you work with one or more experienced independent patent attorneys who are fully focused on your project, whilst the cooperative ensures continuity. In the unlikely event that your regular contact person is unable to carry out their duties, other experts are on hand to take over the work seamlessly.
Our IP experts are proactive, constructive, and intrinsically driven. They are genuinely interested in our clients' innovations and enjoy working on projects that make an impact.
Our driving forces
The strength of Custos IPC lies in our members. Without them, there would be no co-operative. On this page, we’d like to introduce you to our experts, so that you can get a good idea of the person behind the professional: their interests, experience, expertise and the fields in which they work.
Our members form a close-knit community. They work together on assignments, exchange ideas and learn from one another. This takes place during joint projects, peer review sessions and at our members’ days, which are held several times a year. This helps us to keep our knowledge up to date and our collaboration strong.
